Delete your data
Zena Digest (Android app et.zenadigest.app), published by Shegitu.
Zena Digest has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or phone number. What it
keeps about your installation is listed below, with how to have it deleted.
How to ask us to delete your data
- In the app, open Settings → About and copy your Installation ID.
- Email it to contact@zenadigest.app
with the subject Delete my data.
- We delete the data listed under “Deleted on request” within 30 days and reply to confirm.
Without emailing us
Uninstalling the app deletes everything stored on your phone at once. The report it
sent to our server is then deleted automatically 90 days after its last update.
Deleted on request
- Notification delivery report on our server: your alert level per category,
quiet hours and daily limit, whether notifications are allowed, app version, language and
counts of alerts shown or not shown in the last 7 days.
- Usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) recorded for your installation:
which screens and features were used, app version, device type and country.
Kept, and for how long
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): technical error details, app version and
device model. They can't be matched to a person, so they are not deleted on request; they
are deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Without a request: usage analytics events are deleted after 2 months and per-installation
analytics after 14 months; the notification delivery report 90 days after its last update.
- Story view counts are totals per story and contain nothing about you.
Stored only on your phone
Your reading history, saved stories, language and other settings. Clear your reading
history in Settings, or uninstall the app to delete all of it.
