Reconciliation League Forms to Bridge Divides in Higher Education

The Reconciliation League has been established as an international association of 13 colleges and universities, including the African Leadership University. Founded by academics and public servants, the initiative aims to address the hardening of political and social divisions in the United States, the UK, and beyond. Despite their diverse histories and curricula, the member institutions share a unified mission to teach students how to engage across sharply different perspectives. The project focuses on equipping the next generation of leaders with the skills necessary to bridge cultural and ideological divides. This collaborative effort emphasizes dialogue and reconciliation as essential tools for future global leadership.
