Ethiopian Investment Holdings invests $250M in hospitality infrastructure

Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) is spearheading a $250 million investment in hospitality infrastructure as part of a broader development program. Recently, a 50 million Birr design contract was awarded for the construction of a new Hilton hotel. Simultaneously, the MIDROC Investment Group is expanding its portfolio by adding a 200-room facility within the Sheraton Hotel premises. Furthermore, MIDROC is developing a new property on Africa Avenue (Bole Road) at the former Millennium Hall site and has acquired the Webe Shebelle Hotel from the descendants of Emperor Haile Selassie.
