MIDROC Expands Hotel Portfolio in Ethiopia Ahead of COP32

MIDROC Investment Group is accelerating hospitality investments across Ethiopia in preparation for the 32nd United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP32), scheduled for 2027. In Addis Abeba, the group is developing a Moxy by Marriott near Millennium Hall and a Four Points by Sheraton in the Sar Bet neighbourhood, alongside ongoing work on the Westin Addis near the African Union headquarters. Beyond the capital, the company is constructing Four Points by Sheraton hotels in the cities of Jimma and Hawassa. Additionally, preparations have been finalized for the development of both a Four Points by Sheraton and a Protea by Marriott hotel in the city of Bahir Dar.
