Sudanese Army Recaptures Strategic Base Near Ethiopian Border

The Sudanese army has successfully recaptured the strategic Bukuri military base and the Uklili area located in the Blue Nile region. This operation follows intense clashes between the Sudanese army and an alliance composed of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N). According to reports by the Sudan Tribune, the recapture of these territories marks a significant shift in the local conflict dynamics. Given the proximity of these areas to the Ethiopian border, the developments are closely monitored due to potential cross-border implications. The Sudanese military continues its efforts to secure strategic positions against the allied opposition forces.
