Drone Strikes Kill Seven Civilians in Tigray’s Medebay Terer

Residents told Addis Standard that two separate drone strikes in Medebay Terer, located in the Tahtay Koraro woreda of northwestern Tigray, resulted in the deaths of seven civilians and injuries to six others. The attacks occurred on October 9 and October 21. The first strike took place on October 9 at the Medebay Terer clinic, killing two people who were accompanying their daughter during labor. Residents reported additional casualties following a second strike, including an eight-year-old girl. The incidents highlight ongoing security concerns within the region.
