Marriott Drilling Group to drill geothermal wells in Ethiopia next year

Marriott Drilling Group has announced plans to commence drilling exploration wells in the Corbetti Caldera, located near Shashemene in the Oromia region, early next year. The contract follows a recent restructuring where Taranis Operations acquired a majority interest in the project. The Private Infrastructure Development Group will continue to hold a minority stake of approximately 40% in the geothermal venture.
