Senior Federal Officials Visit Mekelle and Adigrat

Former interim Tigray administrator Getachew Reda, National Security advisor Ambassador Redwan Hussein, and Nuclear Energy Commissioner Dr. Abraham Belay traveled to Mekelle and Adigrat. The visit marks their return to the region after 18 months. During their trip, they engaged with residents and assessed the security situation following the resumption of commercial flights. Dr. Abraham emphasized the population's longing for peace and stability, while Getachew Reda reaffirmed the commitment to restoring normalcy and managing the region under a federal command post for six months before local elections.
