PM Abiy and senior officials undergo military training in Hurso

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced that government cabinet members and other senior officials are currently undergoing military training at the Hurso military training center. The Prime Minister stated that the training is essential for properly understanding and implementing the concepts found in the "National Prosperity Strategy." Among the high-level officials participating are Speaker of the House of Federation Muferihat Kamil, Minister of Finance Dr. Eyob Tekalign, and Minister of Health Dr. Mekdes Daba. PM Abiy emphasized that military science plays a significant role in building physical capacity, spirit, and professional discipline. He highlighted that key goals of the national strategy include ensuring national peace and building a strong, self-reliant nation.
