UK Man Caught Working Five Full-Time Jobs Simultaneously

Kashim Chowdhury, a 55-year-old from East London, has been charged in a UK court for holding five different government jobs simultaneously between February 2020 and September 2023. By falsifying his credentials and using sick leave in one role while working another, he amassed approximately £350,000 (roughly 76 million Ethiopian Birr). Prosecutors revealed that he used makeup to appear ill during video conference meetings to avoid scrutiny. His scheme was uncovered after a national anti-fraud agency investigated his employment records at various departments, including the Home Office and the NHS. Chowdhury denies the fraud charges.
