FIFA President Gianni Infantino has apologized to the FIFA Council regarding a secret proposal known as 'FIFA Forward Enterprise' (FFE), which aimed to sell a portion of the organization's commercial rights to a private firm. The plan was scrapped days after leaking, but has triggered significant criticism within the football governing body. Debbie Hewitt, chair of the English FA and a FIFA vice-president, criticized the lack of transparency, stating she has yet to receive requested documentation.
