Eritrea Severely Cuts All Diplomatic Ties with Ethiopia

Diplomatic relations between Eritrea and Ethiopia have completely collapsed following an announcement by the Eritrean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ministry declared the total severance of all bilateral ties between the two neighboring nations. This severe measure comes in direct response to a rapidly escalating diplomatic crisis initiated by action from Addis Ababa. Specifically, Ethiopia decided to close its embassy located in Asmara.
