Dr. Fitsum Assefa Nominated as Minister of Finance

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has nominated Dr. Fitsum Assefa as the new Minister of Finance. Dr. Assefa previously served as the Minister of Planning and Development for eight years, where she played a key role in national development planning and macroeconomic reforms. This nomination aims to guide the country's economy through its current phase. Additionally, former Finance Minister Ahmed Shide has been selected as the Speaker of the House of Peoples' Representatives.
