Bank of Abyssinia reports total deposits reaching 381 billion Birr

Bank of Abyssinia has reported that its total deposits have reached 318.8 billion Birr, with the bank's total assets climbing to 381.5 billion Birr. During the 30th regular and 17th extraordinary shareholders' general assembly, board chairperson Mekonnen Manyazewal announced the financial results. The bank generated a total revenue of 55.24 billion Birr for the fiscal year, marking a significant increase compared to the previous period. Furthermore, the bank achieved a net profit of 11.5 billion Birr for the 2025/26 fiscal year, representing a 10% growth year-on-year. The total revenue figure represents an increase of 16.17 billion Birr compared to the same period last year.
