According to the Airbus Global Market Forecast (GMF) 2026, per capita air travel in Ethiopia is expected to rise by 150 percent over the next two decades. The report indicates that the country's origin-and-destination passenger traffic will experience significant growth. Specifically, this passenger traffic is projected to increase nearly sixfold between the years 2025 and 2045. This forecast highlights the long-term expansion of the aviation sector within Ethiopia.
