Modjo Logistics Hub Upgrading Trade Infrastructure

The Modjo Logistics Hub (MLH) is evolving beyond traditional dry port operations to provide the robust infrastructure required for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The hub integrates directly with the Ethio-Djibouti railway system to facilitate efficient trade connectivity. Key technological upgrades include the installation of Rail Mounted Gantry and Rubber Tyred Gantry cranes, alongside AI-supported automated gate scanning systems. These enhancements are designed to improve trade efficiency and regional integration by modernizing logistics operations in Ethiopia.
