Residents and University community in Aksum protecting property

Residents in the city of Aksum are patrolling their neighborhoods to ensure stability and protect property in the absence of formal security. Meanwhile, the Aksum University community, including management, leadership, and staff, is conducting round-the-clock protection of the institution to prevent looting and damage, similar to measures taken at Adigrat University. Reports indicate that the Ethiopian National Defense Force and the Tigray peace forces are currently arriving in the city.
