Lt. General Tadesse Worede and other officials return to Mekelle

Four senior officials of the Tigray Interim Administration, including Lt. General Tadesse Worede, have safely returned to Mekelle. The officials had been held for two weeks following the TPLF's withdrawal from the city. The Ethiopian National Defense Force facilitated their return to the regional capital. The group includes Lt. General Tadesse Worede, Colonel Tewelde Gebretinsae, Ato Isaias Tadesse, and Colonel Alemseged Gebre-Egziabher. Colonel Alemseged confirmed their safe arrival to Tikvah Ethiopia via phone. The officials are currently in the process of reuniting with their families.
