Tigray regional government orders civil servants to report for duty in person

The Tigray Interim Administration has ordered all regional government employees to report for duty in person within three consecutive working days, starting from October 20, 2026 (Tikimt 10, 2019 E.C.). This directive applies to all government offices in the region. The administration warned that any employee who fails to report in person within the specified timeframe will be solely responsible for any subsequent consequences. Additionally, human resource administrators at each institution are mandated to record the presence of employees.
