PM Abiy: Access to the Sea is a Matter of National Survival

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated during the Tana Forum that obtaining access to the sea is a matter of survival, security, and sovereignty for Ethiopia, a nation with a population exceeding 130 million.

The Prime Minister emphasized that relying on other countries for all international trade routes poses risks to the nation's security, sovereignty, and the future prospects of the next generation. He affirmed that Ethiopia will continue to pursue this objective through peaceful dialogue and the principle of mutual benefit.
