US Condemns Civilian Killings in Arsi

US Ambassador to Ethiopia Ervin J. Massinga has strongly condemned the killings of civilians in the Arsi Zone of the Oromia region. The Ambassador stated that the United States does not accept violence based on religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation and emphasized that such heinous attacks on civilians must stop immediately. Ambassador Massinga called on the Ethiopian government to launch an immediate investigation into the incident. Furthermore, he noted that the US is urging the government to bring those responsible for the attacks to justice.
