The Addis Ababa Housing Development and Administration Bureau has officially announced an extension for the residential and commercial lease contract registration and renewal deadline until Pagumen 5. According to the bureau, the decision to extend the timeframe was taken due to repeated requests from the public and the presence of many landlords and tenants who were unable to complete the process on time. The bureau called upon all property owners and tenants who have not yet renewed their lease contracts to do so before the new Pagumen 5 deadline. Service seekers can access the registration and renewal services by visiting their respective sub-city offices, Mesob One-Stop Centers, and other designated service locations. The announcement aims to ensure all rental agreements in the city are legally registered and brought up to date.
