Free U.S. Higher Education Fair Featuring Over 20 Universities to Be Held in Addis Ababa

EducationUSA at the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, in collaboration with the International Community School (ICS), is hosting a free higher education exhibition featuring over 20 American colleges and universities. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026 (Meskerem 9, 2019 E.C.), from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (local time 3:00 to 9:00) at the ICS campus in Addis Ababa. The exhibition aims to connect prospective Ethiopian students seeking undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees directly with representatives from accredited U.S. institutions. EducationUSA operates under the U.S. Department of State across 430 advising centers in over 175 countries to promote U.S. higher education opportunities and financial aid options. Although EducationUSA is not a direct scholarship provider, it facilitates student access to academic and financial assistance options offered by accredited universities. The exhibition is completely free of charge and open to any interested student, though participants are required to register online in advance.
