Mrs. Alemitu Umod Re-Appointed as President of Gambella Regional State

Mrs. Alemitu Umod has been re-appointed as the President of the Gambella Regional State. Her appointment was confirmed during the 1st founding assembly of the 7th working term of the Gambella Regional State Council. Following the confirmation, Mrs. Alemitu officially took the oath of office in front of the council members. The regional council is currently conducting its inaugural session to structure the administration. The announcement was formally made during the council's meeting on Meskerem 20, 2019 E.C.
