Ethiopia Ranks Third Globally in Russian Fertilizer Imports

Ethiopia has emerged as the world's third-largest importer of Russian fertilizers, according to Yevgeny Terekhin, the Russian Ambassador to Ethiopia. This significant import volume is primarily driven by high domestic demand for diammonium phosphate (DAP) to support the country's agricultural sector. Ambassador Terekhin shared these details in an interview with the Russian state news agency, TASS. The ranking underscores the strengthening trade ties between the two nations regarding agricultural inputs.
