Adwa Victory Educational Outreach Program Set to Launch in Schools

The Adwa Victory Memorial is launching a specialized school outreach program designed to teach the new generation about the historical significance of the Adwa Victory, Ethiopian unity, and national identity. Research Director Mekuanent Tilahun stated that this initiative aims to help youth understand history and draw lessons from ancestors for national development. Preparations are finalized, and a Memorandum of Understanding is being signed with the Addis Ababa City Administration Education Bureau. The program targets students from pre-primary to secondary levels. Additionally, discussions are underway to introduce similar activities in higher education institutions, and an "Adwa Forum" is scheduled for February.
