Defense Force Seizes Weapons near Wukro

The Ethiopian National Defense Force has announced the seizure of weapons in the Tsigereda area, located 30 kilometers from Wukro. During a rigorous search operation, the military discovered 51 modern anti-tank missiles along with their launchers. Reports indicate that this operation was carried out following tips from the local community. The government accuses the TPLF of hoarding these weapons, which were allegedly purchased from Egypt and other countries, to forcefully maintain power in the region.

The military reports that it is actively searching for hidden weapons caches that were previously concealed by the TPLF. Authorities describe the group as prioritizing conflict over peace and state that these efforts are part of ongoing security measures to recover arms and ensure stability in the area.
