Tigray Interim Administration Announces Resumption of Civil Servant Salaries

The Tigray Interim Administration has announced the resumption of salary payments for civil servants in the region. Ato Redae Halefom, the Chief Executive for Political and Public Organization at the Interim Administration, stated that studies regarding operational readiness have been completed, and directives have been issued for government services to resume.

The announcement addresses the significant economic hardships faced by civil servants who have gone without pay for an extended period. All government employees have been instructed to report to their respective workplaces, with assurances that unpaid salaries will be disbursed within days of their return to duty.
