Mesob One-Stop Digital Government Service to Launch in Mekelle

The 'Mesob' one-stop digital government service is set to launch in Mekelle, Tigray. The service, which is already operational in other major Ethiopian cities, is being expanded to Tigray following the directives of the federal government and the establishment of the region's interim administration. Dr. Shishay Meresa, Mayor of the Mekelle interim administration, has appointed Simon Tesfariam to lead the city's Mesob service. The appointment took effect on October 27, 2011 E.C.
