Adigrat Police Announces Reorganization and Arrest of Criminals

Adigrat City Police Commander Inspector Ataklti Gebrehiwot announced that the police force has reorganized to address recent security challenges in the city. The commander explained that during the conflict in Tigray, over 600 inmates and 150 suspects were released from prisons, leading to a rise in theft and lawlessness. Currently, more than 95 percent of police members have returned to duty. Through strengthened security operations, authorities have arrested over 32 convicts, 47 suspects, and six high-priority wanted individuals.
