Tigray Interim Administration Appoints 17 New Bureau Heads

The Tigray Interim Administration has announced the appointment of 17 new bureau heads for the region. The appointments, effective from November 2, 2024 (Tikimt 23, 2017 E.C.), include leadership positions across various critical sectors. Notable appointments include heads for the Water and Energy, Justice, Education, Finance, and Agriculture bureaus. Ato Ataklti Haile-Selassie, the former mayor of Mekelle, has been appointed as the Head of the Public Service and Human Resource Development Bureau. Other appointments cover sectors such as Trade and Market Development, Transport, Tourism, and Urban Development.
