Ministry of Education Opens University and Field Choice Selection for Students

The Ethiopian Ministry of Education has announced the commencement of university and field of study selections for regular program students who passed the secondary school leaving national examination. Eligible students are instructed to submit their choices online between Nehase 28 and Pagume 5, 2018 E.C. Candidates do not need to physically visit their high schools, as the entire placement choice process is accessible via the official online portal at student.ethernet.edu.et. The ministry also outlined special considerations for specific categories of applicants during the submission process. Students with verified medical conditions, persons with disabilities, same-sex twins, and mothers nursing infants under six months of age are required to attach relevant legal supporting documents. This measure aims to streamline higher education placements across public universities efficiently.
