Federal TVET Institute Announces 11 New Training Programs

The Federal Technical and Vocational Training Institute has announced the introduction of 11 new training programs aimed at meeting current and future market demands. The new fields include cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, biomedical technology, intelligent robotics, and new energy vehicle technology, among others. The institute stated it is prepared to train over 10,000 students across 16 satellite campuses and 2 main centers.

The training will consist of a 50/50 balance between theory and practical work. Registration for regular students is open until Meskerem 25, 2019 E.C. The institute also partners with universities in China and Algeria and offers scholarships to more than 300 students from neighboring countries like South Sudan and Somalia annually.
