Russia Expresses Concern Over Security Situation in Ethiopia

Russia has expressed concern over the deteriorating security situation in Ethiopia's Tigray, Afar, and Amhara regions. The country stated it has received reports of renewed clashes between government forces and Tigrayan armed groups and is closely monitoring the situation. Russia has called on all involved parties to honor existing ceasefire agreements and strictly implement previously reached peace deals.

Furthermore, Russia warned external actors against interfering in Ethiopia's internal affairs. The Russian government emphasized that respecting Ethiopia's unity and territorial sovereignty is the essential foundation for resolving internal differences.
