Addis Ababa's e-GP Platform Expands to 60 Institutions

Addis Ababa's electronic government procurement (e-GP) platform has expanded its operations to 60 institutions, according to recent updates. The platform was initially deployed across 13 agencies under the city administration during the 2025/26 fiscal year. Authorities plan to onboard an additional 54 institutions, including district administrations, within the current fiscal year. Last year, the platform facilitated nearly 4,000 bids, with each process attracting an average of at least 40 participants. The city's version of the system was developed by Perago Information Systems Plc, the same company behind the federal e-GP platform.
