Moyale conflict spills into Kenya: 3 dead, 20 injured

Three people have been killed and twenty others injured after conflict from Ethiopia's Moyale region spilled across the border into Kenya. Stray bullets and rocket-propelled grenades have reportedly landed on Kenyan territory, causing local insecurity. Security forces have detonated unexploded ordnance found near Sessi Primary School and other locations. The unrest has severely disrupted education, forcing authorities to relocate students sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams away from the border area. Residents on the Kenyan side continue to report hearing gunfire originating from the Ethiopian border region.
