Russia expresses readiness to mediate between Ethiopia and Eritrea

Lavrov emphasized that the current severance of relations between the two neighbors is not ideal and noted that Russia is willing to facilitate discussions to help resolve their grievances through mutual interests. While Moscow has signaled its readiness to intervene, neither the Ethiopian nor the Eritrean government has officially responded to the mediation offer.
