PM Abiy Ahmed speaks on Ethiopia's regional role and sovereignty

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated that Ethiopia will assert its role in the Horn of Africa not through the charity of others, but through its own strength and capability. He noted that the country is at a stage where it is demonstrating its pivotal influence in regional affairs. Despite numerous domestic and external challenges faced in recent years, the Prime Minister emphasized that Ethiopia has successfully maintained its sovereignty and dignity. Dr. Abiy highlighted Ethiopia's historical resilience to emerge stronger during times of crisis and urged the public to strengthen internal unity to ensure the nation's long-term survival and prosperity.
