Bole Arabsa-ICT Park road project contract terminated

The Addis Ababa Road Authority has announced the termination of the contract for the Bole Arabsa-ICT Park road construction project. The project, which was previously managed by the Alemayehu Ketema general contractor, had its contract revoked due to slow construction progress. Currently, the authority is proceeding with the remaining work using its own resources, while the construction of three bridges included in the project has been assigned to a different contractor.

The project spans 6 kilometers in length and 60 meters in width, including pedestrian walkways and green spaces. Currently, sub-base work is being carried out extensively. Once completed, the road is expected to serve as a shortcut for travelers from Bole International Airport through Goro to the Bole Arabsa condominium area, significantly reducing traffic congestion.
