At least 11 people have been killed in a drone strike in the city of Rama, Tigray, according to medical sources cited by AFP. The incident occurred in two waves: the first targeted a truck carrying sorghum on Thursday night, while the second strike hit civilians who were gathering the scattered grain on Friday morning. While the hospital source confirmed 11 deaths, some eyewitnesses report higher casualties.

ACLED, which monitors conflicts, reported that 12 people were killed and several others wounded, noting significant property damage. Local residents stated that while they were not surprised by the initial strike aimed at armed combatants, the subsequent targeting of civilians gathering the grain has caused deep distress.
