Noah Real Estate Buyers Complain Over Long Delays in 'Noah Hills' Project

Buyers of apartment units in Noah Real Estate's 'Noah Hills' project, located near Wosen in Addis Ababa, have raised complaints over multi-year delays in handing over their properties. According to sales contracts signed starting in 2020, the company committed to delivering the apartments within 36 months, but over three years have elapsed past the agreement deadline. The affected group, representing around 360 buyers who have largely settled their full payments, reported severe financial and psychological strain from paying both rent and project fees simultaneously. Buyers also voiced concern over construction quality and the company expanding to new projects before completing existing commitments. When contacted by Tikvah Ethiopia, Noah Real Estate acknowledged the delivery delays. The company has promised to begin handing over the houses starting from Meskerem 18, 2019 E.C.
