Freshman students will not be assigned to Tigray universities
Minister of Education Professor Berhanu Nega has announced that first-year students will not be assigned to universities in the Tigray region. The Minister explained that the decision stems from the unstable security situation in the region, which is deemed unsuitable for hosting students. Professor Berhanu expressed deep concern over the impact of the ongoing conflict on the youth, urging students to prioritize their education in safer environments, regardless of political affiliations.
