Enat Bank Hosts First GABV Africa Regional Meeting in Ethiopia

Enat Bank has officially hosted the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) Africa regional meeting for the first time in Ethiopia at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Addis Ababa. The summit brings together regional and international value-based banking leaders under the theme of transforming banking through environmental, social, governance, and financial technology. During her opening address, Enat Bank Board Chairperson Aster Solomon emphasized the bank's vision of empowering women economically and providing accessible services to the public. She highlighted the bank's recognition as a market leader in gender finance and announced that preparations are complete to launch a historic Gender Bond. GABV CEO Martin Rohner commended Enat Bank for its leadership in sustainable finance and hosting the summit to foster sector innovation. Additionally, National Bank of Ethiopia Banking Supervision Director Frezer Yalew noted that insights gained from the conference will enhance the strength and effectiveness of Ethiopia's evolving financial sector.
