Mekelle services restored as city life resumes despite security concerns
Phone, internet, and banking services have been restored in Mekelle following the arrival of the national defense forces and regional peace forces. Residents report that city life is gradually returning to normal, with increased movement of pedestrians, vehicles, and bajajs on the streets. Meanwhile, sources indicate that preparations are underway to resume operations for private and state media outlets that have been off the air for over a week. Notably, a new coordinator has been assigned to Mekelle FM 104.4.
