Addis Ababa University promotes 10 academics to Full Professor rank

The Addis Ababa University Governing Board has announced the promotion of 10 academics to the rank of full professor. The promoted scholars specialize in diverse fields including Structural Engineering, Medical Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, Disaster Risk Management, and Veterinary Epidemiology. Other fields recognized include Mathematics Education, Biochemistry, General Education, Artificial Intelligence, and Physical Chemistry. According to the university, these promotions were awarded based on the scholars' significant contributions to education, academic service, research, and community service.
