Retail Prices for Bottled Water Announced in Addis Ababa

The Bottled Water Manufacturers Association has officially released the retail prices for various water brands sold in Addis Ababa. Habiba Siraj, Head of the Addis Ababa Trade Bureau, warned that manufacturers who have not yet declared their prices to the bureau must do so within two days. Failure to comply will result in companies being prohibited from selling their products within the capital city. Furthermore, the bureau is coordinating with the Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority to find solutions regarding water tanker distribution. Trade bureau inspectors have been instructed to monitor market compliance with the declared prices.
