Ministry of Education addresses student placements in Tigray universities

The Ministry of Education has provided an update regarding students attending universities in the Tigray region. Students who requested transfers to universities outside the region due to the current situation will soon be notified of their temporary placements. The Ministry is actively consulting with Tigrayan universities to address the concerns of both new and returning students who wish to continue their studies within the region.

The Ministry emphasized that students temporarily assigned to other institutions will be expected to return to their original universities in Tigray once conditions normalize. Affected students are advised to remain patient while these decisions are finalized.
